The unhardened and hardened proofs of the original Die
A post production proof in Black printed on card.
Plates 1 to 3 were Wet printed from the Original Die
They had upper and lower imprints. They were used for numerous Printing Orders.
Upper plate 1 with PO 117 with 88 and 104 crossed out.
Lower plate 2
Upper plate 3 with PO 351 and 313 crossed out.
Plates 4 and 5 were printed using the Wet process and had upper imprints
and a band of type A Lathework in place of the lower imprints.

Plates 6 and 7 were printed using both the Wet and Dry methods.
They had upper imprints and a band of type D Lathework in place of the lower imprints.

Plate 9 was printed using only the Dry method and was from a retouched Die.
A single sheet was Dry printed and not perforated, probably as a favour.
