The 12 1/2c and 15c values of the Small Queens were never issued. The corresponding values of the Large Queen stamps continued to be used probably because the demand for the higher values was limited and the Large Queen plates did not wear out, Dies were produced for these values and proofs were taken but there are no examples of plate proofs or stamps in sheet form so it is probably reasonable to assume that plates were never laid down.
